I'm still sorting through what I thought about the movie, but I'll be brief here:
1. I'm happy with Blake Lively's cameraphone pics, but her acting really wasn't up to snuff.
2. I positively loved their portrayal of Sinestro (that actor was way, way better in that role than he had to be), but I was unhappy with the insta-fall during the credits.
3. MORE RING TRAINING
4. I know that Parallax has been a huge deal in the comics for a few years, but they scrambled its origins and frankly, Parallax was way too much of a heavyweight for the first movie, especially for Hal by himself.

Maybe that last phrase is what's bugging me here... I know that they wanted to introduce us to Hal Jordan, but I really think that a GL story should be more about the Corps: Green Lantern: First Flight did this really well.

1) I didn't know she was "Gossip Girl" until a friend pointed out.. we coulda had Jennifer Garner, Diane Krueger, or even Keri Russell...
2) You do know that's Mark Strong, also the bad guy in "Sherlock Holmes" and "Kick-Ass", right?
