Postal work

It is amazing how difficult delivering mail is. It seems simple enough on the surface. And it would probably be a breeze if it were not for the fact that people are imperfect creatures and they are the ones that try to address letters or program the computers to do so. Now why would you, of all people, even need to ask that question. It's so nice to have a place to go to work where people are always happy. It's still a little frustrating trying to figure out which Hill's live at 1121 Unique Drive and which ones live at 1211 Unique Circle when I get a piece of mail addressed to D. Hill @ 2111 Unique. Some of our mail is presorted, and since I'm still learning names, I don't always catch the names that no longer live at an address. This makes me feel bad when I leave mail for the X husband/wife or the deceased relative. They keep telling me how great I'm doing, but I worked long enough at RPS to know what mistakes I'm making.

And BTW, did you call and leave a message yesterday? Couldn't tell who it was, and they didn't say.
