Jimmy, being top dog means you have some power to make deals that help you corner a market. You think for a second when Atomic hits that level we wont do the same? It's business, and you do what you can to take the biggest chunk of the pie you can, or someone else will. EA may have become exclusive to using sport's teams or players, but that doesn't mean no one can make sports games. That's like saying you could never do a comic about robots because Dreamwave (sniff) has Transformers. You can still do it, and chances are even better without name recognition. You can still compete if you're creative. Exclusive/license deals aren't new my friend. Besides, how many f-ing NBA games can you own? In the end, you're still playing the same damn game!

I see where you are coming from, but the difference between atomic and EA is a level playing field. mike has done it by being better and doing it better than others. and as rich as he is, he is still a small business owner, not a billion dollar cooperation as EA is... and no, no one else can make a football game, because without the nfl no one cares... how's about choice in the market? But honestly Jim, believe me when I say Mike is doing everything he can to tip the playing field in his favor, and you bet your ass if Atomic could do an exclusive deal to be the only chain to carry Tokyopop, we'd do it in a second. It's a competitive edge, and in this day and age it's the norm. Think about this, if Sega got the exclusive, would you be crying foul? Or is it only when it's not to your personal liking?
