Forever and a Day
So it has been quite some time since I have posted in this thing. I always enjoyed writing in here and before I generally would use this to express myself or help myself think about things outside of my own opinion or bias. I think I will try writing in here to reflect on specific events in my life now too, good or bad

if you want to work in film your degree just doesn't matter. it really, really doesn't. also, if you want to write/sell your screenplay there are a lot of other things you will have to do first, to get your foot in the door. the truth is in hollywood at the moment, hardly any "unproven" script writers get their films made. then again, maybe you wanna avoid hollywood entirely. (it's sad how money-hungry they are, all the rumours are true.) i'd say: come to los angeles! we will tackle the industry together. or, go to new york where there are also opportunities, though less, but there is excellent pizza.
follow your heart, man! if you wanna learn about film you have to physically work in it. watch movies, read books on your own. try to score a production assistant job, to learn from the ground up. and keep on writin'!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on that message, i rarely get on lj and i just noticed that i had a message, this is the first time i have been on here since I wrote that last entry.
so i see you write in here alot so i will go through sometime soon when time permits and i will catch up on your life.
how is everything? what are you up to now?
i graduate in december and i have no idea what i am going to do. i see that you said that i shouldn't give up on the dream and i talked to my current gf who I can see myself being with for quite awhile and she said that she would work and support me while i attempt to follow my dreams so I will take some time to try to get myself in the film world. maybe you have some suggestions?
