About a week or so ago, I awoke with a broken blood vessel in my eye. Aside from being unsightly, it alerted me to the fact that I have not checked my BP in some time. that's really scary!

glad to hear you're OK, and hopefully your MD can get things straightened out for you.

i've been unfortunate enough to spend a great deal of time in hospitals, either, myself or members of my family, i haven't always had positive experiences, but by and large, i have a lot of respect for nurses and doctors, it's a damn tough job, and most do that job with an incredible sense of compassion, which i find remarkable.

I'm ok. My BP is already a little lower, so hopefully the new meds they have me on are working!
