Everything Has Changed!
Well...
A LOT has happened since my last post back in May. Wow, I can't believe it's been that long!
I finally heard from the FT Myers VA and I GOT THE JOB!!!!!
This was only a few weeks ago. Since then, it's been a scramble to try to get all my extraneous stuff packed and out of my house in Albany and arrange to go to FT Myers and start work there. ( Read more... ) -
Morning Rant
I'm cold. It's quite a blustery day, although I did catch a glimpse of the sun earlier. My bedroom window remains open, mostly because I really like the fresh air and the sound and colors the curtains make when they blow back and forth. Is it just me, or does it seem like the weather patterns have changed permanently? I mean, the last 2 summers have been cool and rainy and my backyard is starting to resemble a rainforest. The Weather Outside is Frightful
It's been a weird week...
I didn't go to werk Thursday or Friday, because I got hurt when a demented patient kicked me in the neck, and then, frankly, because I was disgusted with the whole situation. In addtion to being swollen and bruised, it was the second to last day before I leave to start my new job in Endo. They kept me there for 90 days ( Read more... ) -
68 Days
Today it will be 68 days til I start my new job.
I found out Tuesday that The Job is sending me to the Syracuse VA for ACLS training. It is 2 days long, and will necessitate my staying over for 2 nights. I've already arranged the hotel, got the ACLS study book and CD, and now just have to finalize things w/ the Travel Office. Since I am out til Sat ( Read more... ) -
