Roadtrip #2: Tyler, Texas

Miles flew by as my friend Stephanie and I made our way to a resort just outside of Tyler, Texas. It was mid September 2011 and the trees had just begun to turn giving us a scenic drive to enjoy. As you can imagine with two close girlfriends the idle chatter kept the eleven hour drive from becoming a mundane chore. We were there before we knew it

That sounds absolutely amazing. I'm happy that you had fun and were able to relax. You took some amazing pictures too. Love the one of the vultures in the tree and the roses were amazing too! I think everyone should take a trip like this once a year to unwind and forget life for a while.
