I just read a Seamus Heaney poem in praise of Sloe Gin. Am thirsty. A year or so ago I remember dad buying Sloe Gin and sitting around getting a little tipsy listening to NPR. Family bonding time ( Read more... )

1. the only time i've ever had sloe gin, i was already very tipsy. so i don't remember what it tastes like. i enjoy the color though, and advise myself to some day try a sloe gin fizz.

2. aidan quinn = yes.

3. i am reminded of that modest mouse song: "and it's true we name our children after towns...that we've never been to..."

We'll have to have some sloe gin at Christmas. A little girly tasting, but still delicious.

aidan quinn apparently has a new tv series in which he is a priest. if i know aidan's characters, and i think i do, i can guess that nothing good happens to said priest.
