They say quality of life is enhanced by human companionship. Case in point: you laugh more when others are around. Except for last night when uninhibited by the presence of others, I dislodged the fruity loaf from a can of jelled cranberry sauce by shaking it with such frustrated furor that the resulting kurrrschploiiinhk of it finally dislodging

Yeah, that's pretty easy to imagine! I had a similar moment yesterday-- after a day spent having to walk around in the wind and rain, I, in a very defeated tone of voice, beseeched a puddle blocking my way: "Oh dude, come oooooon!" Out loud. Then I had to laugh at myself for being a dumbass and talking to puddles.

Mom's startle reflex is legendary and hilarious!

Those puddles, they can really be a bummer. Especially when your socks get wet. That's the worst.

For some reason I imagine your battle with the cranberry sauce as a cartoon done entirely in MSPaint pictures (stick figures, of course). I smile.
