Hey smart cooking lady. Im going to be trying to make the black pepper sauce from "beef that tastes like bear" for the next cooking group (were focusing on sauces). Any advice, hints, tips, etc?

My advice is to find a period recipe you want to use for pepper sauce and then make it as it suggests -- as a test run. Then taste it a lot to see if it is coming out like you want.
Most recipes generally call for pepper, beef stock, wine or wine vinegar, ginger, bread crumbs (to thicken) and then heating it up all together. :)
