I've only been reading it for a year or two, but damn, it's one of the best webcomics I've ever read. Not denying that 3/4 of the music references go over my head, but it's so character driven that it hardly matters.
And it's done this a few times where, as with a novel, I'm so invested in the characters that a story just grabs me. As you said, a punch in the stomach.
**Spoiler**
What do you think? Are they going to make up?? I think it can go both ways at this point, if only because Marten has a real issue with being taken for granted (which is his), and Dora's insecurity is v. frustrating, but they are so cute together that I want them to stay together and work it all out.
