Spent most of last night sick, and am still feeling crappy today. Guh. I do have the pleasure of getting deadbolts put in my apt today, so that'll be nice. Leaving before matinence gets here, because I don't think my head can take the noise yet. So, ttfn, and I'll try to post something more interesting later. Assuming my head stops pounding. -

Yay! 14 hrs awake! Just felt like sharing.
Bought new dishes! N other stuff, but most cash went towards the dishes. Wanted a bench with storage more, but the only one I liked costs $90...and dishes only cost $52 for a 8 service set.

Ya'll, my face and shoulders are so swollen and blotchy and ooozy that I look like a medical experiment gone wrong. This cold isn't helping; I've lost my voice by the end of each of the last two days...Doing much less than normal talking, and drinking a crap load of water. Ya'll, this is soooooo not funny. I have no voice and look like I skidded down a road on my face, due to a rampant attack of poison oak. Well, Stephanie, how did you get poison oak? Work started an hr ago...called in 'cause the fever that went away yesterday came back. I'm not working in complete misery. Took Tylenol cold stuff, but fever hasn't dropped yet. Lame. This respiratory stuff hasn't cleared either. At least the stomach part is better ( Read more... ) -

Did I mention that graveyard sucks? Less than 8 hours until I need to be ready to leave for work. Grrr.
Also, I have been struck by car want. A cute little 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE. A friend is selling it for 3k. Wonder if she'll sell it to me with a $1500 down payment, and a $500 every month? -

Also: Why is it that people have so much time believing that I pay cash every quarter for my tuition without financial aid? Is it so hard to understand why my aged and retiring legal parents (Nana and Papa) simply don't want to pay 3 tuition? That, because I work my ass off, I'm able to take care of my self? Durrr.
