o, olinscarr, how bereft you must be! pauvre little journal, I left you all aloneses, without a thought that I might not return for a goodly time! (granted, I figgered I'd be updating soon, but - brain.) So, to make it up to ewe, I am now going to do one of ... THESE POSTS!

I knowwwwww - I am so eager to write all these guys again! Every single one of them is so much fun I love them allllllllllllllll

But first, of course, I need my brain to be in working order, and right now it looks like that's a crapshoot - sometimes I'm braining properly, sometimes I'm wairing to get back into working order, sometimes I'm dealing with a pile of whatevers, etc. So - I figure right now work on the things that come to mind to write, even if they're just one-shots of normal people, rather than OMGcanon. Hell, it gets me to learning a lot, about nmariside history and culture and society and langauge and everything, and so I'm not complaining. I'll let the flails happen here. Then, then I get back to VA longer-term, it's storytime.

I tell myself that all the time: Write what you're inspired to write, even if it's a snippet or something random, because if you try to write What You're Supposed To (OMGcanon stuff I guess?) and it turns out not the way you wanted it, it'll be not so good. Yay for exploring your own world! :D

Because my brain only churns this stuff out at a certain rate, and even though I try, I can't keep up with it. :c

I'm not even joking about this. It's my life's greatest frustration - I can't keep up the writing-pace to the idea-pace. :ccc
