paul, i'm so sorry to hear about the sad times! montreal's so great but it does have a dark side to be sure. at the time that i left i needed to get out of there for my health and happiness. however, i do think one can make the city be a happy and healthy place if one tries. i just couldn't at that time. just remember it'll still be there if you need to leave for a bit.

you have a ton to offer; you're so talented and smart. i'm sure you can make the city work for you, or make a successful move. if you want to talk about it more lemme know.
