A couple of weeks ago, we cut down a rather large tree just behind the house. There is a large stump remaining. I went to the upstairs bathroom and noticed loud noises coming from out back. I went outside and saw a young man chopping wood on our stump. What would you do

Trespassing is bad. It's hard to believe that people would carry an axe -- also known as a weapon -- onto another person's land, where their house is. Around here, that kind of story would involve the coroner, a deputy sheriff and a representative from the NRA's legal team.

One shouldn't have to say anything. However, with too many numbnuts and loose screws around, I'm not surprised your neighbor's son didn't realize this would be uncool. Hopefully he'll think twice before doing it again and that'll be the end of that.
