My thesis was approved and I managed to get all of the signatures needed in time for the October graduation deadline. This means that I have completed my Masters in Chemistry! I don't technically graduate until May 2010 because that is when I would walk in a ceremony. My diploma will be dated October 1, 2009 whenever I receive it.

eeeeeee! congratulations!!
Almost every day, I contemplate hanging things on the walls of our house. And every day, I find something else to do. All of the photos and artwork and whatnot are still sitting in a quiet pile waiting to be hung.
you have no idea how reassuring this is. I feel the same way. Grover has done any hole drilling and I've been generally resistant to hanging things because my walls are so damn pretty as it is... we've hung things on the nails that were still left in the walls, but other than that, we haven't drilled many new holes.
... which reminds me that I need to buy more picture frames for all the things still waiting to be framed. gar.
Thanks!!! BTW, I uploaded some more photos to Ravelry. I would spend much more time there but then all the other projects I have (scrapbooking, etc.) would fall to the wayside.
We even bought some special paper for our 1-yr anniversary and painted our living room to contemplate it. And it's still in its tube, all rolled up. I figure will start with the office and hang up the diplomas first. And then maybe will work in the bedroom next. But there's always going to be something requiring our immediate attention.
holy update, batman! i love it. YAY for your thesis getting approved! that is awesome and all your hard work paid off. teh e-momma is proud of little G.
NH should be fun! oooh - you will get to see all the pretty fall colors. Canada too, oh my! Sounds like a good time too, fo drizzle.

My name is Alissa and I'm a tvholic. I just watched the first two episodes of Mercy on hulu -- as if I need another show to follow.
