It has been a very long week.

The last seven days felt much longer. It's only 8 pm on Saturday and I'm winding down for the evening. I plan on writing this entry and then planting myself in front of the tv to watch Chuck and hopefully Angels and Demons while writing some postcards. I don't even know where to start, but since the pets take up most of our time, I'll start there ( Read more... )

Will having to stagger your gym outings make it more difficult for you to keep going? Or do you think it won't have any impact on how often you go?

I'm glad to hear that Darla is feeling better. Does she give you that sheepish "I can't believe this is happening to me" look? That's what Ari does any time he's sick. :( Poor little monsters. I'm glad to hear Salem is home again and that you're comfortable with the shots. She's a very lucky lady to have such parents as you and Andrew.

hugs all around and the cats say "hey!"

I think we'll be ok for the next couple of weeks. The current workout can be done in 35-40 minutes. We can give Salem insulin at 5:30 tomorrow morning and still get a workout in before getting to work at 7:30. It's another challenge and if we have to split up, we'll still get through it. I can see myself going less and spending more time walking the dog in the evening.

Darla is feeling much better. We didn't catch her in the act, though she did give me that look when she was going outside. She has been feeling good since then because we went on a 4-mile walk on Friday, a 2.5-mile hike in the woods on Saturday, nothing on Sunday (because it was icky), and a 5.6-mile walk today. Scratch that, I'm pooped!

We do what we must to make sure our pets are comfortable and healthy. Thanks for the hugs - they love them. Say "hi" back to yours for us!
