Goodbye Moody
If you know us, you know how much we love our pets. And adding Eleanor to our family has only made our love grow. So it is with the heaviest hearts that we had to say goodbye to Moody cat today. He fought a valiant fight, but in the end, we were making him suffer because we could not let go. He truly is the kind of pet that only makes life better ( Read more... ) -

Moody is home, on lots of medicines, but home nonetheless! He keeps meowing at me and begging for food, but isn't eating anything I give him. He looks like a new cat!

Moody cat is in the hospital tonight. He's anemic. We thought it was pneumonia because his nose is completely stuffed up, but his lungs are fine. He is getting a blood transfusion overnight. I miss him so much already. He's in such poor shape though. We thought he was improving that little bit, but today was bad. He's so weak and doesn't want to ( Read more... ) -

Highs and lows....
So, I'm pregnant. I'm actually due in about 3 months. I feel pretty awesome now, but felt like crap during most of the first trimester. I'm also pretty sure we were given special treatment on the last trip by being allowed to go through the elite security line at the airport. Wow.
Earlier this year, my husband received a phone call that he had been preliminarily matched to donate bone marrow. We didn't know too much at that point and he needed to have his blood tested further to see if he was an actual match. Which he did with some reservation because who hasn't heard the horrors about bone marrow surgery? And a few weeks ( Read more... ) -

Where did the weekend go?
Actually, I know exactly where it went - and it was awesome.
Friday night, Andrew and I drove to Philadelphia to cheer on my Flyers in game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals. It...was..incredible. head of lettuce
2 zuchinis
