I don't feel like I've lived 50 lifetimes. I really envy that about you, the way you seem to be able to really throw yourself so deeply into new things. My life feels like a slow progression speckled with out-of-Iowa experiences that I remember more like dreams. Taiwan is still a dream, but after this week, I will have been away from Iowa for longer than I ever have before. I've been thinking about what I want to do after my year here, maybe I'll just keep moving around the world and try to rack up a few more lifetimes. Or at least some more dreams.
