You're from Earth too, huh? [In his head, this young man counts those others he had journal chatted with from the same planet.]
There's quite a few of us from there, from different countries or continents. Or different versions of the same planet.
Many of us are trying to find the exit, but no one has succeeded yet. I have no idea how far away we are, but I have learned some stuff about Paixao. The upper class locals around here don't say or care very much for anyone who shows up, but the lower class gypsies are more understanding and reasonable when it comes to buying stuff and finding places to sleep...
Other than that, not very much makes sense. Logically, this nexus shouldn't exist at all.
Ah, well, I'm not quite from earth myself rather... That's where I was travelling to when I suddenly found myself here.
Thank you for the information sir. From even just being here in a short time I wondered why some of the natives were looking at me with disapproval... I suppose they are unimpressed with my attire...
[He keeps his voice friendly and casual. Convincingly, he sounds like he's not familiar to the whole aliens-exist-and-have-come-to-Earth stuff when he really isn't.]
Oh it's no problem... My name's Jake.
So, you're from another planet? Wow. Guess all corners of the universe aren't exactly safe from Paixao.
Yeah, the nobles, who I call those dressed up in expensive clothes--they have this dress code about covering up most of your skin, or else you won't be able to do business with them.

That's right. Kinmoku, to be exact. It is in a galaxy quite a distance from the Earth. Father than I initially realized, even...
( a sigh ) It seems as though my formal dress is not even enough to convince them otherwise. How troublesome. But you say that the gypsies are slightly more accomodating?
