After thinking a lot about it and consulting with the guru of all things melodic, Mr. John Cogill, Esq., here's the first iteration of 'It's a kind of love'. copies furnished upon request

I'd like to be the first person to complain about your song choice, if you don't mind.
"Ana's Song" is about anorexia. It's not a love song by any means. You can argue that it's a love song to anorexia. I probably would. But I just wanted to make sure you knew that.
You should also know that I enjoy being an asshole.
the 4000 mp3s that are on my computer are the result of my computer having sex with john cogill, esq.'s computer. Therefore, all incorrect band labeling is his fault, as I don't know any better as i'm musically ignorant.
So forgive me, and keep correcting me, it's the only way that it'll eventually get correct.
And yes, the mental notes did cover she has a girlfriend now. i thought it was more entertaining than rbf's version, and since i already deleted the latter, my choice was easily made.
i would just like to say that >I< don't mislabel music, but tons of music was mislabeled during the Napster days, which i subsequently downloaded. the most famous of these is everything pre-1975 being labeled "Beatles" and everything grunge-alternative-y being labeled "Weezer," though there's also a notable amount of 80s music labeled "The Cure." but my tainted love mp3 is labeled correctly, so i dunno what his problem is. as is She Has A Girlfriend. I also want this playlist to have Love Will Tear Us Apart. As for Ana's Song, I'll contend that any song is open to personal interpretation, and one that opens with the line "please die, Ana" is open to certain interpretations, made particularly amusing in the light of our dear friend John's little sister.
we know you don't mislabel music, cogill, but i've got an mp3 of tainted love that was. i'm not blaming you, i'm just saying. also, She has a girlfried was the mental notes' a cappella cover, as i thought it was slightly funnier than reel big fish's version.
as for wanting annie to die, well, you got me there
