Ayame finished her course of enrofloxicin (a really, really nasty tasting antibiotic) last night. This morning I played a joke on her. I scruffed her up just like normal, and got her medicine syringe ready. She was shivering and dangling dejectedly, knowing the retched taste was coming...and then it didn't. By what I hear about them, for some reason US CFLs seem to be two or three generations of technology behind European ones. Possibly they got to a level of design quality, then stopped investing in better because people will buy CFLs anyway. Hence mercury scares about them over there, since they never reduced the mercury content in their designs.

If you can, buy Phillips. And if you really want a money saving long lasting low energy bulb, a Phillips LED one is the way to go. They are four times the cost of a CFL tho, but you're getting a lot of light for very little electricity and you'll probably take the bulbs with you if you move.

They cost like 50x more then Incandescent but supposedly won't go out. On the other front most nice Goodwills have them for a dollar for the bulbs. Country of Origin probably China but hey cheaper lighting, of course CostCo is da bomb for them usually you get like 10 for 6 or 7.

I'm sometimes glad my dogs will eat almost anything, no matter what the taste...it has made medications easy to administer.
