Hiyas...tis I, from a_p_club...I've been banned so I can't respond to your critique...(I'm going to try to ask them to take my poems down so I will no longer be frustrated with no ability to respond to your kind comments). Anyways,

the poem is not about two people who no longer have anything with one another. Apparently that was lost and I need to clarify the poem quite a bit because SEVERAL people thought that's what it meant. The poem is about two people who love each other but are not in a formal relationship anymore...not labeling each other boyfriend or girlfriend, but still in love nonetheless. :)
