Let me just start off by saying that I believe US foreign policity is THE most important issue in any US presidential election, because it makes the most difference in the world. and this was VERY enlightening, so thank you for that.
i was actually in the midst of typing my post like this only...the other way around, in response to aimee's comment on my lj about can't there be mccain supporters who did in fact educate themselves?....when i saw yours pop up, and i think mine would just pale in comparison to your vast knowledge sooooo...that post will stay with me ;) so i don't make myself look like a dumbass. i feel my reasons are legit, but like i have said before i didn't have a THRILL for either one. i'm excited by the way people received obama, and i am hopeful that he can do what he says....WITHOUT alienating people through party politics, which i am pretty afraid of in his case. in some ways i think he's just what we needed :breaks into song: but there are a few things i'm wary of. we shall see!
