there have been phases of my life in which i would listen to a single artist or a single album on repeat for days, weeks at a time. i have found that listening to these songs again is similar to an emotional time machine; i can remember so clearly the way i was feeling at the time

aerosmith + the cranberries = freshman year.
there are a lot of songs that are "josh songs" that i can't listen to any more because of the whole time machine affect. especially Josh Groban and Michael Buble.
also, my dear friend rebecker gave me a cd for my 16th birthday, a mixed one (cd not birthday) and i listened to that so much that it takes me back too.
it really freaks me out when that happens by the way.
