Sad, but a beautiful concept! I like the simple story - not as complex as some others, and better for it. I think there are a few typos in there (surely "783" must be wrong?) and his balls are Steel not Steal!, but those are so easy to fix! It has a gentle feel to it and is a real pleasure to read. Do put up some more.

Always happy to see new Annie fic -- and this one is nice and lowkey and thoughtful -- a good start and I look forward to seeing more from you.

A few factual details -- which don't take away from the achievement of the story but you might want to fix at some point -- Sam's girlfriend was Maya, not Mia, and I'm pretty certain Annie's degree was in psychology.

We have the technology... Sorry :D I liked this, short and simple but sweet. Rather like a glass of strawberry milk, actually. A few typos here and there, have you considered a beta-reader? But the tone is good, the characters are real, and I rather like the style, too. Keep up the writing!
