No, you cant choose your own family. That would be a bit slack on the family, and the exchange is meant to be about putting as much shit on the student's shoulders as possible, so they keep you hanging in the balance til the last moment, then tell you, oh, by the way, we found you a family, when youve been worrying aboutr being sent home for a whole FUCKING WEEK.
