I live next to Morgan Hill NOW, and my mom teaches there. Who is spinning yarn from their cat's hair? Gee, three days up and no bids yet?? I loved this part: "People with severe allergies to pets should not work with pet yarn."
no way! i lived there when i was 3 until i was 6, and i went to Jackson something School. jackson oaks? i dont remember. our house was at the bottom of a huge hill that would have mudslides when it rained, on Vista Del Valley Court. now that hill is all built up, but when i was a kid it was our playground. we sledded on the hay on cardboard boxes, made forts, got ticks, caught scorpions. it was great. :P
I would never have thought of spinning cat fur. I've seen dog fur yarn at a craft show, and of course bunny is common.
I have a knitting question. I just finished my second project, a baby blanket, but the first have of the blanket has a bunch of loose loops. Is there any easy way to get them to go away?
Oh, if only I could spin my dog's fur... there's so much of it, I could open a dog fur yarn store.
Hmm. I may be the wrong person to ask since I'm a new knitter. I could help you with crochet much better. Do you know sherylb? She knits. I'll look around on a couple sites though and will post something here if I find anything helpful.
Thanks for friending me, looking forward to getting to know you!
