And so am I...the only thing I am a bit concerned about is something the vet and I didn't really talk about, but he knows I know it's a possibility...if Ollie's kidneys are trying to slowly shut down as he ages (neutered males about his age start having renal trouble a bit) then he may start getting recurring UTIs. That's why doc wants to see him in 10 days...to see if his creatnin and calcium levels have dropped down to "normal" levels.
He's acting odd...walking around the house, hollering like he's looking for something (Hat keeps hissing at his funky new smells), and then he'll ask me to follow him to the food bowl, where he won't approach it unless I'm thisclose behind him and encouraging him...then he'll sniff at it and act like he's going to eat, and then walks away. Now he's hiding on the monitor....guess he wants to keep close to Mama and Daddy. I think he's fairly shaken and still obviously not feeling well.
Is the bill paid, or do you still have pay pal up?? Also, there is a certain type of cat food I used to give mine fore just that reason, chrystals in the urine, And it's more common in boys too. Let me see if I cant hunt it down for you.
The cat food you're talking about is in our local stores...many different brands have a Urinary Health cat food....Mom had Ami on it for the last year of his life. I appreciate the effort, though.
The bill was taken care of until we go back, which will include almost all the same tests...the doc wants to check the same levels he checked this evening. Yes, Paypal is still up, if you would like to help. We appreciate every penny from everyone...Goodness knows we need the help. *hugs*
I can't remember if I called you earlier or not...I know I thought of you, knowing you could get word out, and you did. =D Thank you for everything.
How about we call you simply to say Merry Christmas? =D If we had time Christmas Eve (we most likely wouldn't be able to see Kelsey that night, we'd arrive too late...I think anything after 6 or 7 is a bit late there) to find and meet up with you all. I'd love to see all four of you...but I know this time of year is rather rushed and you've just been through a major ordeal yourselves. Please...have a wonderful Christmas. Would you have your cell in WF, I take it? Rodney's, too? (Although I don't have that number.)
