Wow. Americans don't view much of anything here as "cheap" these days. Perspective....

Yes, both British Airways and Air Canada are awesome. You'll now be very disappointed if you fly with an American company. :)

Have a great time!

Hey darling! So good to hear from my favourite Georgian. I guess it does all come down to perspective, but in England things are so over priced. America puts things at like half the price of England, and combined with the AMAZING exchange rate for us Brits, that makes for an insane deal.

ie. Walgreens across the street from our apartment in Tampa is selling tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice cream for $4.99, and if you buy another tub you get it for one cent. Basically $4.50 for two, making it $2.25 a tub. In British pounds that's about one pound thirty, yet in England you won't get a tub for cheaper than four pound! And that's for ONE! Silly little things like that, Macdonalds, cigarettes, are saving us MEGA bucks. It's fantastic. x

27 dresses is crap! very disappointing seeing as i love Katherine Heigl. Your flight sounds awesome, how much was it?

Olly, you were BORN to go/live in America. Listen to you: "Can't wait to hit the mall"... So american already it hurts :P

it's cool how i just randomly updated LJ after many months and you did too! will follow your OffExploring one from now on though.

Have an awesome time!!

Hey lovely. 27 Dresses was utter shite. I adore Catherine Heigl, but it was just dire.

And on the born to come to USA thing, DEFINITELY. I love it here! If only for saving money and getting a tan! Haha. Don't know if I could be bothered with the American politics, but the way of life is SO much more layed back. England is such a dictator state now a days. Here you smoke in bars and clubs, talk on your cell whilst driving, etc. Yeah some of it's stupid, but some things just make sense. Like here with car insurance it's the person who gets insured, not the car, whereas in England you can only drive your own car. It's just ridiculous. x
