You could use Zillow.com to figure out the approximate cost.

Be careful doing that. I think they over-valued my home by about 10-20%.

You can get a first approximation, but their error bars are large.

It looks like they under-valued this house by just a bit- from what I can glean from other houses selling price (not list price, but average selling price) and such.

According to the econ blog Marginal Revolution, people when making tiny decisions should think carefully about the pros and cons in order to be most satisfied afterward -- but people making huge decisions are most satisfied afterward when they collect the information and then go with your gut.
