This captures perfectly the self-conscious joy Wendy feels as a sidekick/snarky anti-hero. She doesn't want to admit it, but she's as idealistic as The Middleman. I really liked it and the tone was great.

Thanks. My struggle is always writing too much and not having the heart to cut out what isn't needed. Thus what is basically a 3000 word smut scene.

I loved Wendy in this story! The ways she calles herself a half kick ass superhero (instead of sidekick) and, my favorite line,

"God, you are awesome."

I can just see Wendy thinking that about herself and it cracks me up!
