A speech contest? People have a contest for the best speech? Never heard of that, but if exists I am not surprised it run late. A lot of people love the sound of their own voices.

Too bad about missing the concrete help and congrats on finding cheap foodstuff. I am doing some food shopping tomorrow, but why is it that the things on special sales are always the ones I already have?

Yea there are speech contests. The contestants are under strict time limits or they get disqualified. It's all of the other people who just ramble on to the annoyance of many people in the audience.
