I'm a bit sad a the moment. Over at another place I post people are in a frenzy about an ultra low airfare to Tokyo from the United States.   I never really thought about the possibility to flying there because as many know, Japan as a whole is a very expensive place to visit.  This may all sound shallow and stuff at the moment but it's deeper than

When things settle down cost will be an issue. Everyone is guessing it was a mistake fare(fare changed at 5 PM EST 19 Feb)Typically a trip like this starts around $3000 return and then several hundred dollars a night to stay in Japan and then the huge cost of eating. Sadly it's not in the card. Many people have cancelled their tickets as they now realize they don't have to time to justify such a long flight. Of course that news of their initial zelousness being strickly greed saddens me too.
