Oh my goodness, how scary! I would never circumsize any son of mine unless there really was some abstract medical reason that it HAD to be done for health reasons.

How is the little boy? Will he recover? :(

Poor little thing!!! :(
My firstborn is circ'd. I was as educated as I could geet with the things I could get my hands on and the people I knew at the time. he had no problems and I was with him for it. I held him, personally put him downa nd picked him up before they were done wrapping it. They said that they never had mothers actually ask to stay with their babies. I encourage families that if they chose to circ that they go with the child. It's the least they can do. It was the least I could do.
I hope that sweet little boy is all right. I have one friend whose son is permanantly damaged froma botched circ (complete with three botched "repairs") and another who had excessive bleeding afterwards (Vitamin K should be given to boys who will be circed!) It really is scary what can happen :(

This little guy had Vit K done 3 days before... They researched so much and this still happened.
