Thanks!! my mom is sooo annoyed about the due date... Every year for the last 5 years Christmas has been crazy, moving, family crisis, etc. This year she was excited to a laid back Christmas... oops.

I wanted you to know that you have been in my thoughts... I haven't commented to your journal but you have been.

Thank you very much. I don't expect everyone to speak out about everything, and I understand the need for silence from a lot of my friends, but it means a lot that you're been there all along in the background. -hugs tightly- I'm still grieving, and quite honestly, your post brought tears to my eyes, but to quote a friend fro my own LJ, "When the goddess closes a door, she opens a window".

This really applies in your wonderful announcement, and I am truly very happy for all of you. :)

Awwee thanks!! ANy idea how to get my gh on board w/ UC? I've tried but he's not having it. I actually tried using the "a midwife is going to cost us $1800" route. Hee said he'd find the money. grrr. not what I wanted to hear from mister penny pincher.

I read fluent typo, it's okay :)

Mine was onboard with UCing with the stipulation that I had other women there who had given birth before. I was like "deal!" He did eventually change his mind though so we shelled ou the dough for his peace of mind. And now? He'd be fine without a midwife. D'oh. I think the best way to get a skeptical partner onboard is to get them to talk with other people and to have him read read read. Want a copy of "Power of Pleasurable Childbirth" to borrow? It's sitting in my drawer just waiting for a future UCer to enjoy it ;) I'm about to buy "Unassisted Childbirth" for my library too ;) You can always tell him a millino other things he can do with that money :D I'd give him time and space and a ton of stuff to read, if I wer eyou. You don't have to hire a midwife in the next ten minutes either, I mean, you have plenty of time. Put that off for a while too, that'll help your cause ;) Does he articulate why he is opposed to UCing?

Sorry this is so all over the place.

AAAAH!!! Congratulations! I am so happy for you (and Nick and Stella)! Yay!

What wonderful news :)

I hope your pregnancy and childbirth go smooth as butter, however you choose to do it ;) BTW, how far are you from a hospital? Just in case? Don't hate me for asking. I would just be worried about you...

Oh, good :) Go for it then!

John and Rainer are both especially awesome this week. Rainer had his birthday party on Friday and it pretty much lasted all weekend. He was SO excited to have people around as an audience, applauding his every move and noise. John is awesome because he found out he is the guy his company wants to promote to the top (as the game designer), though there's nothing guaranteed yet, so I'm not getting my hopes up. It would be a huge thing in so short a time working there. But he's giddy for now anyway :)

I can't believe you're pregnant again! My brother's wife is too :) They just announced it a few days ago too. It's great because I know enough mommies to be that I can postpone my desire to have another one :) So, John thanks you ;)
