Not trying to badmouth anyone(and you really can consider this OOC because shawn wouldnt say it) but come on. You "hand down" all your awards but one? Get over yourself. You should have said "Sasha Cohen" instead of "me but i'm being such a NICE and GREAT person and handing it over to Sasha Cohen" that is retarded and makes all those awards pointless. They didn't win. Although who knows, they could have and you just want to toot your own horn. You guys didn't listen to ANYONES suggestiosn on how to run this. You should have taken yourself out of EVERY AWARD. BEFORE nominations. Not AFTER you say you won. That's dumb and makes it seem worthless(although it really is since it's a popularity contest and no one is gonna overtop the figureskaters). I think you guys started out doing a good job, but in the end I think you sucked. And i'm sorry because i know how hard it is to run one of these things but i hope next year if these happen it's run a WHOLE lot better because this years was just pointless.
Then you can consider this OOC. The comments about winning and handing it down were strictly IC because I would never toot my own horn like that however Johnny wouldand the 'handing out' was not completely random. I gave it to the person who had the second greatest amount of votes and the ONLY reason that i handed them out is because I'm closing this journal. I'm sorry that you thought this year sucked and yes it is hard especially when you end up running it by yourself because of brackety reasons. You won't have to worry about me running it next year because I'm out of here.
I understand how hard these things can be and you can't please everyone, i'm just saying the better way of handling it would have just to said Sasha won, not I won but i'm handing it over to Sasha. (sorry i keep using that person as an example, they are just the one i can think of off the top of my head) I think that's crappy.
