Ehhhh you get used to it after a while... and it gets a little better. I admit, my grades are worse than they were Freshman year, but socially I'm havin a lot more fun...
People change a lot in high school. I've lost 3 guy best friends in the past year and a half because they've all become huge jerks in an attempt to fit in with the popular crowd. I guess they were just trying to find themselves.
Don't let high school get to ya - you get used to the stress and change. People come and people go. You get a bad grade or two. It's all part of being a teenager.
And how can your birthday this year be bad? Elsa and I are baking for you! =)

Love always

Kyle, you're a really strong guy, so I know you'll get through this. It's tough, I know-freshman year is all about breaking ties and making new ones. But if the ties are broken, maybe they're MEANT to be broken. Maybe it's a good thing. But at the same time, maybe it's not. Personally? I miss talking to you like I did in eighth grade. I miss all our conversations and good laughs. I miss our theater troupe in Java. All these memories of old friends are hard to get over, and sometimes I feel like I'm just stretching out to people who are moving on. I can't figure out what's healthy and what's not. Should I let people go, or try and repair the friendship? Right now I'm struggling against the first and working on the second, because that's what I think is right, whether it really is or not. People who were so close shouldn't just separate for superficial reasons.

But, back on topic-IM or call or whatever any time to talk. It makes things easier if you can talk them over, doesn't it? <3
