Oh Kyle Kyle Kyle we need a Kyle Blair day. I don't care what we do. Paint your room, me watch you swim laps. Whatever. Life is too short for us to go this long without talking. Why do you think I hug you every time I see you. Because that's the same number of hugs I would get if I saw you as often as I'm used to. Call me. I never know when you're busy anymore.
And don't worry. Inspiration always comes in waves.
Amen, brother. Call me stupid, but a big factor (for me, at least) is the lack of sun. All this cold, gloomy weather is really wearing on me.
If you'd like nostalgia, we should get the old posse together again sometime. Otherwise, all we can really do for each other is be supportive...my only advice as of now is to not dwell on the past and present. I spent a year and a half doing that, crying about the past, wishing it would come back, until I realized that pretty soon, the future is going to be the past. If I don't focus to improve things now, I'm just going to look at that as another distant, missed memory. And I don't know about you, but I like having two sides of the spectrum. Having the past to miss, and having the future to look forward to. As for the present, well, the present is only one day long. :P
That's just my two cents. Hang in there, buddy. Summer is coming.
well either way, don't doubt yourself. once you start doubting, you start overanalyzing, which just makes you more worried and stressed out.... which is bad. i don't know. whenever i take pictures i just see something and i go "damn, that would be an amazing picture" and if i have a camera, i make it one. just give yourself time to just go for a walk with camera in hand, clear your head and shoot whatever you want, without thinking "is this going to be good or bad or what and will other people like it?" just shoot what feels good....
on a sidenote. this morning i walked out of my house, turned to the right, saw the sunrise--which made the sky about 12 different colors. i then turned around, went back inside, got my camera, took a picture, then had to restrain myself from standing in the middle of the crosswalk on benton to take another one. it was so amazing this morning. so yeah. don't worry, better weather will come.
