Sightseeing ques.

For those of you who know how to navigate without a car, I have a question for you. Before I leave the west coast I'd like to see the Pacific Ocean, but I do not know how to get there without a car, using public transport. Do you know any campsite areas near the pacific ocean and how to get there via public transit or greyhound/amtrak?

Grays Harbor Transit is your best bet for getting out to the ocean on public transit.

The 40 Bus can pick you up in Olympia and have you in Hoquiam in less than a couple of hours (http://www.ghtransit.com/40.html). From there you can go out to Ocean Shores (http://www.ghtransit.com/50.html). Pacific Beach and Ocean City are two state parks with camping on that route.

You could also take the the 55 Bus (http://www.ghtransit.com/55.html) to Westport. Twin Harbors and Grayland are two parks with camping in that neck of the woods.

If it were me, I'd do the 40 Bus to the 50 and then get off in Pacific Beach and stay at the state park there.
