I'm so sorry about your kitty *hugs*. And it is a really weird feeling to be without a cat after having one for so long, when our house cat of 18 years died (whom we got when I was 3) it was so weird being without her. It's amazing how tightly we bond with our animals.

I'm so sorry, Louisa. I have mourned bitterly every time I've lost a pet, and I would be horribly depressed if I lost one of my cats. I can only imagine since Screech was with you for so long. Thanks for sharing the story of his life--I enjoyed reading it. I've been thinking of you a lot lately. *HUG*

I'm so sorry, mate. Pets really are the best. They ask so little and give so much. 20 years is an amazing lifespan for a cat, Screech really was such a trooper.
