We were listening to the audiobook Girl in Hyacinth Blue and came to the last few stories where there was a hanging, a flood, a baby and this painting that wove it's way through the whole book. Amazing things come from deceptively simple places. I suppose that many people would rather have someone else answer the question for them. But the answer is personal. Would we change if someone told us what the answer was? Would we simply accept it and see life with a new perception? or are we more likely to reject the thought until we discovered it on our own? Perhaps the question is the cause of gods and religions. Perhaps the question is what caused our ancestors to consider the Sun a god. No matter what name is used. A person eventually needs to develop a faith in some happening or go crazy; or die thinking rather than taking time for sustenance.
