This is my field of expertise. As a rule, it can't be done except under EXTREMELY specific circumstances. That's what "open enrollment" and "group policy" are all about... Many people STAY employed only because by doing so they are assurred of continued coverage. It IS possible for a procedure to be denied, however- again, under some specific conditions.

I don't know what language there was about employers denying coverage was in there.
