Paint them with anti-cat smell. I can recommend a brand that actually works.

That would be fabulous. Up till now she's been leaving my leather boots alone...but since we got rid of Elf's old dress-up shoes that he never wears anymore and were damaged anyway, she didn't have anything else to pee on, I guess, in that area.

Actually, Elf brought out some good saddle soap that he says should work. I'm just going to have to look through my Copious Spare Time (TM) for the time to do so.
