Ha, I got to relive the whole beautiful match thanks to this, with all its little details. :) So much football in the fic. It's almost as if it's not slash until you reach that little reminder at the end!

Daniel would still be the better mover of the ball
Mmm, I have to agree with you there!

Martin’s shoulders relaxed. He hadn’t even realised that they were tensed.
Oh, I love that a lot.

Just one thing that I really hope you don't mind my pointing out: you might perhaps want to watch your tenses? The fic slips between present and past tense quite often, and I just personally found it a bit confusing and distracting. (Perhaps it's because the line between recount and commentary is blurred?)

Ah, thanks for coming back and reading this. =D I'm glad you enjoyed it and managed to relive the match.

Yeah, sometimes I worry that my fics aren't slashy enough. I mean, people always seem to love smut so much and mine are always so tame in comparison, but then, I'm adding to the diversity =P and well, I write what I want *nods*

And yes, thanks for pointing out grammatical errors. I'm at such loggerheads with grammar (but I have improved, if I may say so myself, I think =P). I'll try to be more stringent with the editing in future, but I think while the errors are so blatantly obvious to you, I often cannot see them at all. Go our public school system *waves flag*.

Anyway, feel free to continue to prod me and point out mistakes. I won't be offended. =) And also, I apologise in advance should I continue to make glaring mistakes that stick out like a sore thumb to you. But I will try and not make them.

(at times like this, I wonder how I pass my essays and assignments...)
