Look in the booklet for your game, they have a way of restoring your Pokémon to the game should such a thing happen. Unless you really want to raise another Pokémon up...

Congrats on the job! I also found work that is paying close to what you're getting, and thankfully doesn't involve being on the phone with people all day... Still, a job is a job, and it'll be nice to be earning some coinage - especially if soldiers stationed in the Middle East finally come home to swamp the job field.

Thanks for the tip about getting my Pokemon back, at least I can try and find a second hand Pokewalker someday...

Congratulations on finding a job! What did you end up doing?

Get this: Petsmart was hiring bathers, so I applied, got called in for an interview the next day, then after a drug screening, got hired on as a cashier (to start). My favorite part is that I'm earning a decent coin, more than anywhere else I ever worked. On that note, if you ever go insane answering phones, they're in dire need of bathers, and they do like having guys work there.

Wait, so I wouldn't be yelled at by anonymous callers or wake up at 3:30 AM everyday to be at work by 5AM; plus working with you? Sold! I'm assuming PetSmart operates under a 'more normal' retail schedule. Are they a union store? -Interest building.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure you can just get your pokemon back. I remember reading it in the booklet that came with the pokewalker.
