I got to say that FFXI made me a more jaded person after I played it. I hit max level as a Galka Black Mage only to get turned down for any end-game content because I wasn't some cookie cutter race/class that would die in one hit. Japanese players wouldn't team up with me because I wasn't Japanese, players of the western nations would all want to team up with me because they tought I was Japanese. Ugh, now I need to go chill out as these FFXI memories have got me all riled up.
