For the same reason I don't consider myself anti-america. I don't know why these things surprise you :-P
People's beliefs don't effect me. However it does piss me off when atheists are paying taxes and not being told that that money is going to building churches
I think anyone atheist is anti-religion, that's the whole concept of atheism. :P As for the tax thing, well I guess that sucks for you but that's just about the same whenever you pay taxes, that there are always things taxes go to that some people don't want to pay for but you don't have a choice. It'd be nice if you could choose things your tax money would go to but I bet even if there was something like that it would just be a government scam. :/
Hardly, unlike christians I don't care enough about other people to force them into believing the same thing as me. I'm not a hypocrit.
As for fairness, at least people who don't agree with the war in Iraq know that it is happening and can write to their senators and propose new laws on the subject. When people are kept in the dark about what their taxes are being spent on, they cant do anything about it.
Thats great that you got to register. It reminded me, when I went to register to vote here the lady asked me what party I was and I stated democrat you could tell she was trying to kind of hide her feels of "whhhhhaaaaatttt?" Justin said that if you could but a dialog to her body language it would be "what a democrat in Iowa I have never heard of such a thing" it was funny.
