it's true, we are the ones who most depict ourselves as weird. i definitely relate. although because my shyness is proportional to other people's shyness, i wind up feeling like a big chatty cheeseball in some scenarios. so the "weird" factor doesn't only come with shyness - it comes with all levels of interaction. :)

that said, i would have to say you don't come across as weird at all, honestly. reflective and insightful is what comes to mind.
