Somehow, even knowing that part was coming, I still managed to surprise myself. As soon as I finished writing, I just kind of sat back and went, "OMFG, I can't believe I wrote that. I think my readers are all going to run away screaming." SO not in any way the sort of thing I usually write, I must say.

Hey, everybody needs improvement, I think! I just also think that anyone that's used to be sweet, cute, cavity-inducing fluff will be a little bit O.O;;; over this. Hell, I was pretty O.O;;;;;; over it, and I wrote it. My only thought is that I'm glad I didn't have to write the rape scene from Sherlock's perspective and got to do it from John's war zone tunnel vision instead, because otherwise, I think it would have killed me.

Yes, BAMF! John pushes all my buttons. I am so sorry Sherlock is not completely safe yet, and with Moriarty making appearance in the previous chapter, the happy end is nowhere near.

BAMF!John is just about one of the greatest things ever, and he is not used nearly enough in fandom. I mean, omfg, no one else can be so freaking deadly in a cuddly jumper and looking damn sexy as he does so!
